FictionChina is a static reading website. Our position is simple: we do not collect any personal information from you.

• No accounts, and no sign-up. You do not create a profile.
• No tracking, no analytics (no Google Analytics, no third-party trackers).
• No cookies used for tracking or personalization.
• No advertising, and no ad networks.
• We do not collect, store, or sell your name, email, phone number, address, or location.

The only thing you can voluntarily send us is the text you type in the "Message the Author" form, if you choose to use it. This message is stored privately so the author can read it. It contains no name, no email, no phone number, and no location — just the text you wrote. It is never shared, sold, or used for anything other than reading your message. Only the site author can see it. If you would like the message you sent to be deleted, please contact us and we will remove it.

The site is served as static pages via GitHub Pages. Like any website host, the server may keep standard, brief technical logs (such as a request to view a page) for normal operation and security. These logs are not used to identify you and are not combined with any personal data.
